Right of withdrawal

As of October 2026

This is a translation for your convenience. The legally binding version is the German one. German version

Personalised signs: no right of withdrawal

There is no statutory right of withdrawal for the doorbell and parcel signs ordered from us, and they cannot be returned. The reason: every sign is manufactured only after your order and to your specification — type of sign, material, format, mounting, corner radius and the engraving you define during the order process. What is engraved is exactly what the preview shows you before you buy. It is therefore goods that are not prefabricated and for whose manufacture your individual choice is decisive (§ 312g (2) no. 1 BGB).

A first access is included in the price of a sign. It is not charged separately and is not concluded as a separate contract — what is sold is one product at one price (section 2 of the GTC). To the extent that the contract as a whole therefore falls under the exception in § 312g (2) no. 1 BGB, the exclusion also covers this first access included in it.

Your statutory rights in respect of defects remain unaffected. If a sign arrives damaged, deviates from your order or is otherwise defective, those rights apply in full — that is not a question of withdrawal. And if you made a typing error in your details, simply get in touch; we will find a solution even though we are not obliged to:

Additional accesses: 14-day right of withdrawal

If you later buy additional accesses for a sign that is already in place — alongside the sign during the order process, or at any time in the dashboard — you have a statutory right of withdrawal. You have the right to withdraw within fourteen days without giving any reason. The period is fourteen days from the day the contract is concluded, as nothing is dispatched whose arrival a period would have to wait for.

The access is available to you immediately after payment. That does not change your right of withdrawal: we do not ask you for any declaration by which you give it up early. The fourteen days remain yours in full, even if you have already used the access during that time.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us

Jan Louis Hillbrand Diebrocker Str. 214 32051 Herford Email: info@taptex.cloud Phone: 0160 4748567

by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send your communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from an additional access, we will refund the amount paid for it without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we receive notification of your withdrawal. For this refund we use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no case will you be charged any fees for this refund.

There is nothing to send back: an additional access is a purely digital product, nothing is delivered. With the refund we take the place back; if it had already been assigned to a neighbour, their access ends with it.

You do not have to pay any compensation for value for use that has already taken place, and you receive the full amount back — regardless of whether the access was already used during the withdrawal period.
